Frequently Asked Questions:
Will My Photo(s) Work On This Design?
I can usually reformat any of my designs to accommodate your photo. Photos should be at least 300dpi. I can take care of any cropping necessary to make the photo work on your card.
How do I send my photo?
Please email the photo(s) you would like to use to email@example.com
What size is this design?
Size should be listed within the first paragraph of each listing. Most designs are standard 5x7, though I do offer 'faux ticket' size, etc. If you would prefer a different size, just let me know and we'll make it happen. Be sure to notify me of special size requirements at the time of purchase to ensure that your final design will be formatted to your specifications.
What type of printable file do you send?
Life is better with options, so I send both JPG and PDF files. In addition to standard 5x7 print files, for faux ticket invitations, I also send a '3up' JPG (3 stacked on a standard 8.5x11 sheet). If you need a special size (bleed margins, etc), be sure to request at the time of purchase.
Can the colors be changed?
In most cases, yes.
Can I see a proof before I pay?
My turnaround time is 24 hours or less for printable files.
Do I have to pay the design set up fee and the per print price?
Proofs are not provided prior to purchase for the simple reason that I am paid exactly for that service. If you are concerned about whether your photo will work within a particular design, I am happy to provide a rough sample. Up to three revisions are included with each purchase, so we'll be sure to get it just right!
How long will it take to receive a proof?
Yes. The design fee is my fee to set up the personalized file for you, regardless of where you should choose to print. My 'per print' fee is the fee to have your invitations printed. I keep my prices quite low which reflects the fact that you have already paid for design service.
How long until I receive my printed invitations?
Printed cards require up to 7 business days to process - this includes production, packaging and delivery time. In most cases, I will provide an approximate delivery date at time of purchase. I will also notify you by email when your cards leave the studio.
